Yi-yi Misses Her Ziao Ziao Face... : (

Darling, darling... Yi-yi misses you so much. Called home and talk to you last night and was told by 外婆 that you were smiling very happily... Think you can recognise Yi-yi's voice. Can't wait to be back in Singapore to cuddle you in my arms...

Sorry for the lack of updates. My Yi-yi will be back with more pictures and posts soon... I heard a lot of things happening in my Yi-yi's life now. Yi-yi said she's very stressed with work now so we don't blame her, okie... Enjoy my big-head picture for now. : )

I Love You More Each Day

Jayden is getting very talkative recently. He will just woo-woo, ah-ah very loud into the air. Making all sort of noises, talking to himself or to the television thinking people inside are talking to him. When we are on the phone, he will think we are talking to him and will in turn talk to us.

Darling is also learning to wave goodbye to people. He doesn't do the full-fledge of waving his hand yet but you can see that he will raise his hand and open-close his fingers, learning what he sees from the opposite party.

I always feel that it is not easy raising a child but seeing him learning and mastering new things everyday is a joy. I feel very proud of our little darling everytime he surprises us with something new...

A Typical Day In Baby Jayden's Life

This a typical day of what darling will do in a day...
- Wake up early in the morning for your morning feeding.
- Next you will wait for 外婆 to bath for you. If 外婆 is a bit busy doing the housework and is late in bathing you, you will not be too happy.
- After getting yourself clean and fresh, you will just do the following for the rest of the day till it's time for your evening cleaning.
1) Plays with your fingers, putting them in your mouth. Coats your hands with saliva and apply it all over your face.
2) Sitting in your walker for the shortest time and start whining to get out of the walker.
3) Wants to be carried around by 外婆 or anyone at home and sometimes even forces the 'carriers' to walk around.
4) Lie on 外婆's bed and talks to yourself.
5) Lie on 外婆's bed and flips over to your tummy at the slightest chance available.
6) Whines the moment you are hungry.
7) Whines even more when you are sleepy.
- After repeatedly doing the above, it will be about time for your evening wash.
- Then when 外公 comes home, you will want him to carry you to walk around and play with you.
- By then 小舅舅 will be back and you will be the most happy cos you like to play with him. You will give him the loveliest smile when you see him.
- You will then do the above 7 items till it's bedtime for you.

Hmmm... Yi-yi would love to have your life if I have a choice. You must enjoy it now that it is your privileges, okie? : )

Darling has done us proud again!!

On 13 January, Sunday, you turned over from your back to tummy all by yourself.



The moment you managed to turn over by yourself, you want to turn over all the times. Darling still needs a bit of practices to turn over smoothly and move your hand to a comfortable position but I'm sure that will come in time.

We are so proud of you. Keep up the good work. : )

Baby Jayden's Perpetually Shocked Expressions

Jayden has a pair of big round eyes with beautiful double eyelids and maybe because of the big round eyes, whenever he opens his eyes real big, he will have this shocked expression on his face. Check out the pictures below to see what I mean...

Xiao JiuJiu, why do you call me 'bu lai nee'??? I already have many many names. See below for what I meant...

Daddy calls me 'Baby'.
Mummy calls me 'Bao PI'.
爷爷 calls me 'Zhenxian', 'Xian-ah' or 'Xiao Gua Gua'.
奶奶 calls me 'Xian-ah'.
公公 calls me 'Xianxian'
外婆 calls me 'Chouchou' or 'Ah-Doo'.
Yi-Yi calls me 'Darling' or 'Bao-Bei'. Hmmm... sometimes also calls me 'Ah-Dai'. Oh... she definitely calls me 'Ziao Ziao Face' all the times.
Darius Gor-Gor calls me 'Di-Di'.
Diana Yi-Yi calls me 'Chou Xiao Zi'.

I think sure got some more but I cannot remember liao... *Thinking hard* I cannot think anymore. I think I better go and take a nap first... *Yawns*

Some Updates of 我们家的宝贝

Baby Jayden is 7 months old today, according to the lunar calendar. Yi-yi is supposed to update your blog so long ago. In fact, I have so many things to update but I am just so lazy... Sorry, darling...

Today's post shall be on all the things that I had been wanting to write for the past 1 month...

You received so many x'mas gift for your 1st x'mas. There are a lot of nice clothes (Guess, Polo Ralph, Dinosaur, Giraffe hat), a pair of Puma shoes and a nice letter 'J' from all your 姨姨s and 姑姑. As for me, I bought you a 'Bumbo' seat. You seems to like it or maybe you are too young to resist sitting in the seat. Heehee...



Your Mummy is very sad though cos' 小舅舅 forgot about your x'mas pressie. :( How could 小舅舅 forget??? To think that Baby Jayden loves him so muchie. Think 小舅舅 is very guilty now. Heehee...

We had been bringing you shopping almost every weekends, so much so that we think you love going shopping with us. You will be very sad if you see us outside the door going somewhere when you are in the house. You start by getting excited (moving your hands and legs aggressively). When you realized that we are not going to bring you, you will start crying.

Your Darius 哥哥 is also very cute. He gets very excited everytime he sees you. It is a must for him to sayang you whenever he sees you. He can be grouchy at that moment but the moment we told him that Jayden 弟弟 is here, his eyes light up and he will stop being grouchy to sayang you. He loves everything that belongs to you, your pillow, pacifier, pram, 'Bumbo' seat, even your Mummy and Daddy. He is such a darling to you. The kind of love that he showers you is quite amazing, considering he is only 10months older than you. We always feel that he somehow understand what you have gone through and so is especially caring towards you. It is going to be a joy to see both of you growing up together. : )

A lot of times, it is usually the Mummy who will do a lot of things together with the baby for their first time. Likewise for you, your Mummy experienced a lot of your first time with you but last Wednesday, your Daddy did something with you and it was your first time. He brought you to the beach for a walk and he is so proud of it. Your Mummy was working and couldn't took leave so Daddy was in-charge to bring you for an appointment. After the appointment together with 外婆, 姨姨, Khim-po, Diana 姨姨 and Darius 哥哥, we went to Pasir Ris Park. Diana 姨姨 was supposed to deliver something there so we all followed her. After delivery, all of us just stroll in the park. Both Darius 哥哥 and you were enjoying the stroll. Darius 哥哥 were happily sitting in your pram, talking to himself and you were in your Daddy's arm seeing the scenery. Your Daddy was telling you to 'brag' to your Mummy where he brought you - your first time to the beach with DADDY!!! Hahaha... so funny hor... but all because we love you so much. Every little things that were done with you or involve you are enough to make us happy and proud!

There is going to be a lot more 'first time' in future. Be it done with anyone of us, happy or sad, we will be there when you need us. We always ask you 你是谁家的宝贝? Remember the answer is always 你是我们家的宝贝!

Darling Laughing Out Loud!

Darling is 6 months and 6 days old! There have been noticeable changes in you since you reached your 6 months old mark. We can see you starting to imitate what other people do. You have grown more talkative too and for the first time today, Yi-yi saw you laughing out loud!!! It is like you are enjoying yourself very much.

Khim-po was just talking to you and trying to coo you to smile. What Khim-po did is imitate a pig snorting and that tickled you so much that you were laughing out loud. You were so happy that you were continuously laughing loudly. Everyone who saw you laughing were full of smiles. No exception for Yi-yi. :D We recorded it and every time that Yi-yi watches the video, I still can't help but smile seeing you laugh like this.

Yi-yi decides to upload your video onto your blog so that people who are following your life will have a chance to see the video and hope that it will brighten up their day, like it had brighten up mine. : )

The Story of How Darius Gor-Gor Loves You Coming Soon...

It is quite amazing and really heart-warming to see how 2 little cousins love each other. How the Gor-Gor (Darius) dotes on the Di-Di (Jayden) and how Darius will protect Jayden when he thought Jayden is being bullied. It is a bit late for Yi-yi to tell all the stories now but I promise that I will be writing down those stories very soon. Till then... I love you, darling.
