姨姨 Is Really Really Bad!!!

Dear Jayden,

This is an apology from 姨姨 for not updating your blog for updating your blog for 4 whole months. I was actually creating a brand new blog for you... Okie okie... I know the excuse sounds really lame as one doesn't need 4 months to create a blog... I have to admit that I am just busy and lazy... :( I take full blame of that. I rather spent all the time bringing you out and playing with you than logon to do an update.. :P

But really, there is a new blog in making... It's not completed yet but I will finish it up real soon. I promise...

For now, for those interested to take a peek... Here goes the link...

Hong Kong Trip Day 4 - Home Sweet Home

21 December 2008 - Sunday

On our last day in Hong Kong, we were just going to take it slow.

Went for breakfast then wait for the airport transfer to take us to the airport. Did our last round of shopping in the airport and proceed for the boarding of plane.

They saw Mummy carrying me and us board the plane first... Heehee...

Bye Bye, Hong Kong...

姨姨 and Daddy were saying that they will not be back in Hong Kong in the near future as they did not think that it was that fantastic, especially 姨姨 who thinks that most of the Hong Kongers are very unfriendly and rude.

I overheard Mummy and 姨姨 already planning for this year's overseas trip. They are planning to go Taiwan this year and I heard that a few of the elders had already started saving in preparation for the trip... Heehee...

I think it's going to be another trip to enjoy... : )

P.S. Before I end the post, I think I should give some credit to my 姨姨 for updating with 4 posts in 2 days. Thanks, 姨姨. *Hugz & Patz*

Hong Kong Trip Day 3

20 December 2008 - Saturday

Once again, we woke up early in the morning as we had a few places to cover today. We went for breakfast in one of the restaurants near our hotel.

Our first stop for the day is to go to the 黄大仙庙. We took the MTR from Tsam Sha Tsui to Wong Tai Sin station. Once we are out of the station, we saw the temple. It was really crowded. It was said that if you pray to 黄大仙 for wishes, you will get your wish comes true.

Like the saying that goes... 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do.' Since we are in Hong Kong, we shall do what the Hong Kongers do and pray and hope that our wishes come true too... : ) I think my Mummy prays for me to be 快高长大, 身体键康. :D

Check out the pictures to see how crowded the place is... If I did not remember wrongly, it was still before lunch when we were there...

After 拜拜, we went from Wong Tai Sin station all the way to Tung Chung station in Lantau Island. 姨姨 was very persistent in wanting to go Tung Chung as she heard from her friends that they are many outlet stores there.

We were quite surprised that it was actually a shopping mall which has all the outlet stores in it. 'Wow wow'. It was the Citygate Outlets Shopping Center!!! There were so many brands in the mall, ranging from Espirit, Puma, Nike, Levis to Kate Spade, Burberry & Polo Ralph!!! I know Mummy & 姨姨 almost went 'crazy' in the mall. 外婆 and Daddy were saying we should have come here once we touched down... The adults went back with so many bags in their hands!!!

After like 4 - 5 hours in Citygates, we decided to proceed back to the hotel to put down our loots first before going for dinner then Temple Street for more shopping and buying souvenirs for our love ones back home. As it was dinner time when we made our way back to the hotel, the MTR was filled with people!! It was like dinner time at Orchard MRT station on a weekend x 10!!!

Once we were back in the rooms, I had a very strong feeling that they wish they can just stay in the room and nua... but they were saying that it was the last night in Hong Kong and staying in the hotel is a waste of the trip. Whatsmore, they are still short of some souvenirs for the relatives.

After freshening up, we headed towards Jordan station which will bring us to Temple Street. Over there, I see all the neon light signboards like the ones I had seen in the Hong Kong drama series. They were like 'Wow wow'!!!

The adults got very busy shopping in the Flea Market. They were doing some last minute shopping before we fly off tomorrow. They were at the same time complaining that their legs are going to break really really really soon. Hahaha....

By around 10 plus, they had bought 90% of stuff that they need to bring back. For the first time since we reached Hong Kong, we took 2 cabs back to the hotel as all of us were really really tired. Heehee...

Once we reached the rooms, we did all the packing of all the stuff that we bought as we are leaving the next day.

Hong Kong Trip Day 2

19 December 2009 - Friday

We woke up early on Day 2 cos we wanted to make good use of our time in Hong Kong. Went for some semi Dim Sum breakfast. Weather was slightly cold in the morning but compared to Day 1, it was still okie.

After breakfast, we braved ourselves and take the MTR to Admiralty station. From Admiralty station, we took bus 629 to Ocean Park. Mummy and 姨姨 said to go Ocean Park so that I can get to see some dolphins and have fun.

Once again, I felt asleep along the journey. They ‘forced’ me to wake up when we reach but I was really tired and it took them quite a bit of effort to wake me up… Heehee…

When I woke up, I was ‘wow wow’ by what I saw. It was so colorful and there were so many things to see. I saw roller coaster and some really game rides that look scary to ride… We took a lot of escalator all the way up to the park. First we went to the Sea Jelly Spectacular. There were so many beautiful jellyfish in there but 姨姨 said some of them are really poisonous… but still they are very pretty.

After Sea Jelly Spectacular, we went to Atoll Reef. Over there, we sees a lot of different kind of fishes… cute one, funny looking one…

When we are done with the fishes, Daddy said that the dolphin show is starting soon and we all make our way to the Ocean Theatre, where I was treated with many very cute dolphins. They were jumping over the water, swimming gracefully across the pool… I was once again ‘wow wow’ by them.

By the time we are done with Ocean Park, it was closed to late afternoon. Our plan was to go the Victoria Peak in the evening so we decided to take a train to Central station where we can sit a tram to go up to Victoria Peak. Over at Central, we have our late lunch and wanted to walk around there a little but realized that the shops there were not what we were looking for. We ended doing quite a bit of unnecessary walking and all of the adults ended up very tired with all the walking.

We almost lost our way a couple of times trying to find the tram station and we finally found the way, we decided to give Victoria Peak a miss… and the reason being that there was a slope leading up to the tram station and non of the adult has the energy to make their way up.

We had no choice but to walk back to the MTR station to take a train to go back to the hotel. We had wanted to take a cab but the traffic was bad and we were worried that the cab driver will bring us round and round and round.

The moment we reached Tsim Sha Tsui, we went for dinner and walk around Tsim Sha Tsui again. Then we went to famous 许留仙 to buy some desserts back to the hotel to enjoy. After the many yummy desserts, they decided to rest for the day for tomorrow…

Hong Kong Trip Day 1

I know my 姨姨 almost want to skip blogging about the Hong Kong trip cos she was too lazy... Hmph... but how could she, right? It was my first trip overseas, you know...

Okie... Now let's back-track a little back to December...

18 December 2008 - Thursday
We woke up early cos our flight was at 11:20am. We set off in 2 cabs, one from Jurong (爷爷, Daddy, Mummy and Me) and one from Bukit Merah (公公, 嬷嬷 and 姨姨). The journey to the airport was realllllllly long and I felt asleep in the cab after a while.

By the time I woke up, we were already at the airport and Daddy and 姨姨 were checking us in for the flight. 爷爷, Daddy and Mummy didn’t manage to have breakfast earlier so we went to the Kopitiam to get some quick breakfast. After the breakfast, we proceed to board the plane.

The next thing I know, I was already sitting on the plane. Everyone just kept telling me that I am going to take an airplane, you know? And I will go ‘wooooooo’, making the sound of an airplane. Heehee…

Before the plane took off, I was belted to my Mummy for my safety… When the plane took off, my Mummy gave me my pacifier to help with the pressure of the plane flying higher and higher and higher… I felt asleep on the plane again as the journey was a little long and it was my nap time…

When we were at Hong Kong airport going through the custom, we were given a special express queue as they saw that I was sleeping. The moment they led us to the express queue, I woke up… Smart, ain’t I? Heehee…

Collected our luggage and we were on our way to the Hotel via the airport transfer. 30 minutes later, we are at our hotel, Panorama Hotel, at the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. They gave us 3 rooms side-by-side. 爷爷 shared room with Daddy. 公公 shared room with 嬷嬷. I shared room with Mummy and 姨姨. Rooms weren’t too big but it was clean, comfy and have all the necessities that we need.

After we put our things down and freshen up, they said that it’s time for dinner. Went to this nearby 餐厅 for our dinner. It was the first time all of us had meals in Hong Kong and we were quite satisfied with the taste of the food.

After dinner, we walked around Tsim Sha Tsui. Just wanted to find out what’s available to us around our hotel. While we were walking down the road, Mummy got all excited when she saw 许留仙 dessert shop. She was telling us that must go and try their desserts so we agreed that we will definitely try the desserts while we are in Hong Kong. As we walked along Tsim Sha Tsui some more, we saw a big SUPERSTAR!!!

WE SAW CHOW YUN FATT!!!

Honestly, I have no idea who he is but the adults were getting so excited!! They were saying he looks really charismatic, old but charismatic. He was friendly too. When he realized that we recognized him, he smiled at us while walking…

After a little more looking around, we went back to rest to prepare for the next couple of days of walking and more walking…
